In the weekend we went up for a drive up to the hills to see the snow. Next weekend we might be going for a walk. When we were at the snow we through snow balls and made heaps of tiny snowman. The snow was freezing cold. When we were on our way to see the snow we took some selfies.

Last weekend at netball we played North street school and we lost by 9 miles. The score was 1-10. I was goal keep through the hole game. Goal attack in the other team scored eight goals and goal shoot only scored two in the goal in the other team. We passed the ball to our goal shoot. As soon as she throws the ball to the hoop the whistle blows.

2.6.2015.
On Friday after school I caught the bus to Savannah's house because it was her birthday. We had a treasure hunt. Josie, Sarah, Kirsten, Lauren and I went to Savannah's birthday. We played try not to fall. We had party food. we had sausage rolls, fruit, hot chips, chips and dip. We had a cake it was yum. We also drew faces on the balloons and had races with the balloons in between our legs.

Once upon a time there was a lady and she lived in Feilding on Kimbolton road and her name was Cruella de Vil. Her name was Cruella de Vil because she was cruel. Here's a thing about Cruella de Vil she loved to kill animals and turn them into mats, coats and dresses. She loved to go to Apiti and visit this lady called Kim. Kim had a girl dog, one day Kim decided to take her dog for a walk when suddenly she bumped into a man and he had a dog that looked the same as Kim's dog. They were the same breed because they both had black spots and white underneath the black spots.

I might be going to the movies some time this week to watch "Pitch Perfect". If we do go to the movies I will be going with my mum and aunty. I also might be going to the movies with my dad and brother and we are going to watch Jurasic Park.

Yesterday it was my uncles birthday and he turned 21. When me and my family went to his house the top half of the pie fell off, when we opened the door at my uncles. We had a chocolate cake with icing and chocolate on the top.

In the morning my mum woke me and my brother up and we went out side and it was snowing. I was amazed. That was my brothers first time seeing snow and it was my first time seeing the snow. I swiped my hand across the table it was cold.

We are learning to summarize text
The bantam and the soldier summary
Young Bantam getting picked on by the other Bantams and its war time.
When war came to the village. The farmer took the good animals with him and he left the bantams to fend for themselves.
The little bantam slept away from the others.
There was an explosion the bantams got blown up except for the little one he stayed in the bush and he was the only one that survived.
The soldiers headed into the village, one was Arthur and he got picked on like the bantams by the other soldiers.
The farmer heard movement in the bushes and it was the bantam, it was stuck.
Arthur freed the bantam and put it in his coat pocket.
The soldiers teased Arthur about having the bantam.
The soldiers started to like the bantam.
They collected bugs for her and she rewarded them with a egg.
Bertha kept hope for the soldiers.
The battle moved past them.
They weren't allowed to take Bertha with them.
They took Bertha back to the farmer and said goodbye.
Arthur returned home and was friends with his fellow soldiers.
He said to his niece I want to tell you a story, and told her about the bantam called Bertha.
Moral and message of the story:
- if you're nice to people you get good things back
- if you stay strong in your mind about something to achieve your goals.
- the chicken brought hope to the soldiers
- if you are really positive about something and others aren't stay strong about it and eventually they will come around to it.

ANZAC Day
ANZAC day was on Saturday 25th April. ANZAC day is when people remember the people that fought in wars and died. On ANZAC day you get a poppy. On ANZAC day everybody had to meet at the garage.

In the holidays me, my mum , dad and my brother went to Hawkes Bay for a week, then came back on Saturday. In the morning my grandad called and said that our nana was in the hospital so we had to go back to the Hawkes Bay hospital. My nan had heart failure. She couldn't breathe properly and her heart beat was going really high like 150 that's how high her heart beat was going. All her clothes she was wearing got cut up by the doctors. She was wearing all these little sticker things that she had to wear. Her hands and feet were cold I felt bad for her so did my mum , dad and my brother. Then we went home.

A couple weeks ago my cat died. It went under the car and it got ran over. It was sad when it happened.
